Here I am again, writing from London. Spending a little longer than usual, it allowed me to explore the great food scene. London has amazing tasty nooks and corners where you can indulge yourselves in International cuisine. Greek restaurants in London rarely made it in the top of the list go to places. Luckily, this is no longer the case. Greek cuisine is on the rise, many Greek delicatessen offer products from small Greek producers and what’s more exciting original Greek dinners. The concept is all about sharing, plates will come out mezze style so that you can enjoy the delectable dishes in good company. London walks

Going from one island to the next, from Mykonos to London was something I longed for a little while. No matter how wonderful the crystal clear waters of Mykonos, London’s grey skies and unending green horizons have a special place in my heart. I know, it’s absurd but I cannot resist the charm of the light grey clouds that hung lazily overhead, even if this comes with a spot of drizzle. And there is nothing better than a walk to take it all in. So this post is not about food, but walks in London and beyond.

Leaving London in the evening by plane is trully a treat. The Thames forms a sleek black ribbon with white glistening lights along its banks. Tiny red dots mark the sky-high peaks of The City and whilst you gaze down at the scenery, you are oblivious to how busy and loud London can be. And how very toothsome, tasty treats are hiding in every corner.

Greek pockets of London

Greekpockets of LondonIt probably seems as if a black whole swallowed me the past few days, it didn’t. I just took a little break and visited the old home, London that is. I was lucky enough to get a spell of nice weather and enjoy the outdoors. My visit was not as long as I would have liked it to be, but certainly very well spent.
